Want to skip or shorten your pill-free week?
Skipping your pill-free week is no problem at all. If you have a strip with 21 pills, just start a new strip straight after those 3 weeks. Then you won’t have a monthly bleed.
Want to shorten the pill-free week? No problem. Don’t take any pills for 4 days, and start taking the pill again after that. Then the bleeding will be less of a problem for you.
Never stop for more than 7 days
Don’t ever make the pill-free break longer than 7 days. If you stop taking the pill for longer than a week, you’re no longer protected against pregnancy.
