Unintentionally pregnant?

If you are unintentionally pregnant and would like to talk about it, you can also visit the Sense consultation hour.

In a conversation with a doctor or nurse, you will discuss what the best choice is in your case: either keeping the pregnancy or terminating it. It is your decision, but it is important that you make that decision carefully.
If you have decided to terminate the pregnancy, you will receive a referral to an abortion clinic. These clinics are located in Amsterdam, Heemstede, and Alkmaar. In Almere, the abortion takes place at the hospital.

You can also contact an abortion clinic directly. For more information about terminating a pregnancy, click on the link next to this. You will need a referral from your GP or a Sense nurse for this. If you wish to keep the pregnancy, you can receive guidance from Fiom (link). They have extensive experience in supporting young mothers and fathers. They also provide support if you choose to carry the pregnancy to term but are considering adoption or (temporary) foster placement.
