Comfortable in your own skin
Do you not feel comfortable in your own skin? With these 7 tips, that will soon be over.
7 tips
- Be proud
Be proud of 3 things about yourself. For example: you built a great website, you’re an accomplished rapper or you’re good at sports. - Feel attractive
Look at yourself naked in the mirror. Name at least 3 things you think are attractive. That shouldn’t be too difficult. You have gorgeous eyes, a good body or lovely even teeth. If you feel attractive, you radiate that feeling. Which makes other people think you’re more attractive too. - Don't compare yourself
Don't compare yourself to pop stars and film stars. Did you know that − with the help of make-up, lighting and Photoshop − anyone’s body can be made to look fantastic in a photo? Take porn videos: the actors are more muscular and have much bigger penises than most boys and men. - Be active
When you’re active, your body releases substances (endorphins), which make you feel good. And a little exercise never hurts when it comes to keeping that divine body of yours in shape. So go for a cycle ride, walk the dog or take a run round the park. - Do something fun
Do something fun with your friends. Get up off the couch and go to the movies, exercise or play a game. When you enjoy yourself, you are more comfortable in your skin. And if you do it with people you like, you feel even better. - Take care of your body
From head to toe, from crown to crotch. Wear clean clothes. Use deodorant, brush your teeth and put on some aftershave. Just remember: more isn't always better! Otherwise, everyone will steer well clear of you. - Treat yourself
Create leisure time. Buy something nice for yourself, especially when you've had to do a lot of studying. Take a long shower or a nice hot bath. When you take good care of yourself, you feel more comfortable in your own skin.
